Although this could very well be a picture of me finding a new treasure at a favorite nursery, it's actually an illustration by David Catrow for a children's book called Plantzilla.

Wednesday Vignette

Acer palmatum leaves fallen on a bed of Delosperma cooperi at Willow Tree Gardens and Interiors.  Even their garden is dressing itself (or undressing in the case of the tree...) up for the holiday season!

Wednesday Vignette is hosted by Anna at Flutter and Hum.  Check out her blog for links to other WV posts!

  1. Very nice -- a shame it's not in your own garden. At least you don't have the chore of removing the leaves though. :)

  3. Great vignette, Peter. I very nearly posted some fallen leaves myself today. They always brighten my day!

  8. All of our pretty leaves are down now, and fading where they fall in the beds.

  9. Very pretty! It makes the Delosperma look like some sort of huge moss.
